Contrast showers for the feet

When it slowly warms up in the spring and our feet once again see the light of the world, the world should also have something eye-catching to look at. Contrast foot baths can help achieve healthy feet with pink skin.

What the application does:

  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Helps in cases of chronically cold feet
  • Helps combat headaches
  • Helps sleep disorders
  • Promotes circulation
  • Helps counteract low blood pressure and stabilizes circulation
  • Perfectly suited as vascular training
  • Ideal preparation for subsequent foot care products

Here's how to do it:

  • For the contrast foot baths, you need two simple pails which your feet can fit into comfortably. Fill one with cold water and one with warm water.
  • Indulge your feet first for 5 minutes in the warm water, approx. 36 to 38 degrees Celsius (97 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit). Then immerse your feet in water that is as cold as possible (up to 18 degrees Celsius/65 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10 to 15 seconds.
  • Repeat the application once.
  • End the contrast bath with cold water. This leads to reactive hyperemia, that is, increased circulation due to the cold stimulus.
  • Dry your feet thoroughly. Take care to rewarm the feet afterwards – for example, using warm socks, movement or a massage.

Warning:
Use caution if you suffer from varicose veins or vasospasms.
