You don't do things by halves? Then you probably also like to take a full bath. Especially in the uncomfortable season, this is recommended about once a week.

Full and very special:

The duration of the bath should not exceed 15 to a maximum of 20 minutes. A temperature of 37 to 38 degrees Celsius is ideal.

You can vary the effect of a bath yourself. Depending on the bath additive, there is time for relaxation (lemon balm), time to stimulate the circulation (rosemary), to do good to the muscles and joints (juniper) and much more.

Among all baths, the most effective is the full bath. These baths are very good for the sick and they like to take them.

Tip:

To stabilize the cardiovascular system, you can use a cold knee cast after the full bath or take a short cold shower over the entire body.

Bathroom:

The three-quarter bath

In contrast to the full bath, where the water goes up to the neck, in the three-quarter bath it only reaches the chest. The difference between the two baths lies in the strength of the stimulus to the organism. This is greater in the full bath, the whole body benefits from the water pressure and relaxes. The stimulation intensity of the three-quarter bath is lower, but this can be an advantage: For example, the circulation is less stressed than in a full bath.

Caution:

If you have heart disease, you should consult your doctor about both baths. Also in the case of varicose veins and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, you should enjoy a bath with caution. The same applies to low blood pressure. Therefore, especially when taking a full bath, get out of the tub carefully.
